Barack Obama shaking hands with a man by the name of John Poindexter, a Texas millionaire businessman also noted for being a donor to the Democrat Party and who also received an award from Barack Obama related to his military service in Vietnam.

Poindexter is the owner of the very Cibolo Creek Ranch Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was found dead at earlier this week."

Does he look like a Poindexter or what?

The world might never know exactly what killed U.S. Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia, who died at a luxury ranch in West Texas on Saturday. Presidio County judge Cinderela Guevara, a local justice of the peace, told the Associated Press that she declared the 79-year-old dead of "natural causes" without seeing the body herself, having "consulted with Scalia's personal physician and sheriff's investigators, who said there were no signs of foul play."

Guevara told the Washington Post that Scalia didn't have a heart attack, as some reports had claimed. She also said that Scalia's doctor told her that the justice "suffered from a host of chronic conditions." "He was having health issues," she said.

Scalia's body was found by Cibolo Creek Ranch owner John Poindexter and a friend. "We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled," Poindexter told the San Antionio Express-News. "He was lying very restfully. It looked like he had not quite awakened from a nap." Poindexter said Scalia, who was on the property for a hunting trip, seemed "entirely natural and normal" on the evening preceding his death.

Scalia's body is expected to be transported to Virginia on Monday. Chris Lujan, the manager of the El Paso funeral home to which Scalia's body was taken on Saturday night, told both the Post and the AP that the justice's family didn't want an autopsy performed. Have at it, conspiracy theorists.

I think he probably died of natural causes, but it's incredibly stupid and wrong to allow the confusion and lack of information to continue. There should be an autopsy.

Indeed. As it stands now, there seems to be at least some reasonable doubt as to whether or not Scalia died naturally. There should have at least been some toxicology analyses on his blood. To simply assume a heart attack without any investigation is unwise.

If you wanted to alter the course of history, there is only 1 man on the bench that killing him off would change the direction of this country. Scalia is a Constitutionalist, the ONLY one one the bench and the only one we have had for a very long time. He did NOT see the USC as a living breathing document to be fiddled with by every POTUS that gets elected. I can assure you Obama despised him as much as the NRA. Get rid of Scalia and you change the course of America.

He was taken out, I would bet money on it, I believe it. There is not path which the far left will not travel to achieve their goals of Tyranny and killing off someone is no big deal to them.

It's standard operating procedure for the Obama admin. Muddy the waters, give just enough rope to allow speculation. Don't address it, let your opponents obsess. Meanwhile, you can characterize your opposition as tin foil hat wearing loonies, and carry on with your agenda while the opposition is distracted and discredited.

I'll take that bet. A fat, 79 year old man who smoked cigarettes and cigars his entire life would NEVER have any heart issues, would he?

There's no blood. It was washed down the drain on the embalming table.

Medical Examiners make this determination ALL THE TIME. So do JP's when there is no ME around. Scalia's doctor knew him and likely knew he had heart disease (lifelong smoker).

Put away the tin foil.

I am with you on this.

Common sense conservatives, versus conspiracy conservatives.

You can bet the leaders of the conservative movement, e.g. the AM radio talk show millionaires, will be pushing conspiracy for it generates drama and gives them material to keep their audiences captivated by one more ongoing resentment and fear.

Stop it. This is a blatant mischaracterization of my stance and most others' as well. I am not saying that Scalia was certainly killed, only that there is a realistic possibility that he may have been killed. Furthermore, I'm sick and tired of certain people, many of whom have told us to give up our conservative values repeatedly, being mocked mocking us as stupid and paranoid.

“I took a look at the report and I almost fell out of my chair.”

Veteran homicide investigators in New York and Washington, DC, on Monday questioned the way local and federal authorities in Texas handled the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

“It’s not unreasonable to ask for an autopsy in this case, particularly knowing who he is,” retired Brooklyn homicide Detective Patricia Tufo told The Post.

“He’s not at home. There are no witnesses to his death, and there was no reported explanation for why a pillow is over his head,” Tufo said. “So I think under the circumstances it’s not unreasonable to request an autopsy. Despite the fact that he has pre-existing ailments and the fact that he’s almost 80 years old, you want to be sure that it’s not something other than natural causes.”

Bill Ritchie, a retired deputy chief and former head of criminal investigations for the DC police, said he was dumbstruck when he learned that no autopsy would be performed.

“I took a look at the report and I almost fell out of my chair,” Ritchie told The Post from his home in Maryland.

“I used to be an instructor in the homicide school. Every death investigation you are handling, you consider it a homicide until the investigation proves otherwise,” Ritchie said.

“How do you know that person wasn’t smothered? How do you know it’s not a homicide until you conduct an investigation? You have to do your job. Once you go through that process, you can conclude that this is a naturally occurring death.”

Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara said she declared Scalia dead via telephone based on what cops and marshals at the scene told her — that there were no signs of foul play.

“How in the world can that Texas judge, not even seeing the body, say that this is a heart attack?” Ritchie wondered. “A US marshal can’t tell you. You need a medical professional. If this was Joe Blow, you say OK, 79 years of age, health problems, maybe natural causes. But this is a sitting justice of the Supreme Court!”

Guevara also spoke by phone with Scalia’s physician, who told her Scalia had several chronic medical conditions and had gone to the doctor’s last week for a shoulder problem, reports say.

Scalia’s family did not want an autopsy, she added.

Then you lost...

2 members of my family: smoked since a child, chewed (usually both at the same time), dipped snuff and drank hard whiskey every day, one died at 92, the other at 88, plowing his 80 acres BEHIND 2 MULES, dropped dead...what a great way to go!

My dad died of lung cancer. Never smoked nor drank his whole life, he died young at age 64.

Sheriff said there was no foul play: Meaning, he went in the room and did not find him with a bullet hole in him. The JP, an elected official, not a doctor, NO medical training of any kind, most like born and raised in the county and has very little to do (for years they have tried to get rid of the JP position here in Tex) pays about $45k and a car with gas, keep the job long enough and you get retirement and best of all the State of Texas employee healthcare for the rest of your life and your family too.

Anyone note how the Feds swept in and took over!

Conservatives have been floating the ridiculous theory that [/color]Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was murdered. Somehow, they are unable to comprehend how an obese 79-year-old smoker with a history of heart problems could possibly die after a day of hunting, partying, and gorging on food — and their irrational hatred of Barack Obama has instead led them to believe that the President had Scalia murdered.

Interesting how that's the same insulting description of Justice Scalia one sees in leftwing sites.

There are posters here who are leftists, and have been all but proven to be leftists. It's one thing to lean left, as various posters over time have openly admitted. It's another to claim to be conservative and post as a leftist.

I have no respect for such posters, not that they care. I am falling into the trap that was set, which is, taking the diversion and making the poster the topic.

So, that's all I'm going to say about this.
