GOP presidential debate to be held Saturday at Peace Center

The RNC holds the event, not the canidates. It's their call how they want to fill this small venue, an obviosly they don't want to pack sections with cheerleaders.

This is how people get in. The sponsor of the debate, ie the RNC distributes tickets. Some tickets are given to each candidate but most are controlled by the sponsors. This is how it has always been.

I do believe this  is the first debate Trump hadn't threatened to boycot. There's still time. I would not be suprised he adds audiance makeup as one of his demands.

What - you want free shit or something?

Loyal GOP supporters are the ones who PAY for the debates, though donations to the RNC. Why shouldn't they get first dibs on the seats?

You have these people that adamantly hate the RNC, and state all year how they rip up RNC donation letters, and being rude to donation callers, and post their strong feelings againts the RNC on this forum, all the anguish that leads them to support outsiders. Yet, when the RNC holds a invitation only event they are the first to $itch for not being envited.

If a certain candidate feels the audience isn't as welcoming to him, wouldn't that be the perfect opportunity to prove the greatness of his or her positions and ability to sell them to even skeptics?  A master salesman would use it as an opportunity, not whine and complain about it.
