'Legal rape' advocate ripped over planned men's meet-up
Self-proclaimed 'neo-masculinist' claims 165 events in 43 countries scheduled
Published: 7 hours ago

While politicians indignantly object to being called part of the “war on women,” it’s a label that a self-described pick-up artist and advocate for legalizing rape can wear with pride.

Daryush Valizadeh, better known as Roosh V, runs a website called Return of the Kings, where he advises men on the the best methods to have sex with women and posts commentaries universally condemned as misogynistic.

Now he is announcing a worldwide “international meetup day” for like-minded men in 43 countries, scheduled for 8 p.m. local time Saturday, Feb. 6.

“The tribal meeting will allow masculine men to regularly bond and converse with each other while providing support in the case conflict or disturbances affect their city or nation,” Valizadeh said on his website.

The meetings are for “heterosexual men only” – women, homosexuals and transsexuals are specifically disinvited.

On his website, Valizadeh said it was time for men to “come out of the shadows and not have to hide behind a computer screen for fear of retaliation.

“Up to now, the enemy has been able to exert their power by isolating us and attacking with shrieking mobs, but we’ll be able to neutralize that tactic by amassing in high numbers come February 6. I will exact furious retribution upon anyone who challenges you in public on that date (remember to record them). Therefore, let the sixth of February be a clear signal to all that we’re not going anywhere. We have finally arrived.”

Thanks to an article Valizadeh wrote last year, the Return of the Kings event is being characterized as “make rape legal” rallies. In what Valizadeh now says was meant as satire, he called for rape to be decriminalized.

“I propose that we make the violent taking of a woman not punishable by law when done off public grounds,” he wrote on his blog last February. “By attempting to teach men not to rape, what we have actually done is teach women not to care about being raped, not to protect themselves from easily preventable acts, and not to take responsibility for their actions. I thought about this problem and am sure I have the solution: Make rape legal if done on private property.”

Emily Miller destroys the sheeplike curse of unarmed female helplessness in “Emily Gets Her Gun.”

Valizadeh’s announced meet-up has generated a backlash from numerous quarters, with counter protests announced. Chicago feminists have announced they will show up at the two gatherings scheduled for their city. German counterprotests have been announced in Berlin, Franfurt and Munich. Several Canadian mayors have denounced Valizadeh and called for venues to deny space to the group to hold their meetings.

“Roosh V and his hate speech have no place in our city and should have no platform here either,” a spokesman for Toronto’s mayor said.

A Change.org petition calling to stop Return of Kings readers from meeting in Sydney, Australia, had received more than 35,000 signatures on Tuesday morning. A WhiteHouse.gov petition is calling for the group to labeled as “terrorists.”

Police in Scotland vow they will investigate any criminality committed by disciples of Valizadeh. A Calgary police spokesman said that city’s force has a plan in place, though it is expected it will be needed primarily to protect any alpha males who show up. Police in Des Moines took to Facebook to urge women to stay away, warning, “There is concern that this may be a ruse to commit rape.”

Men planning to attend Valizadeh’s events are instructed to go to the public location selected for their city and identify themselves.

On his website, Valizadeh said: “To identify your fellow tribesmen, ask the following question to a man you suspect is there for the meetup: ‘Do you know where I can find a pet shop?’ If you are asked this question, answer in the affirmative: ‘Yes, it’s right here.’ You can then introduce yourself and get details about where to proceed at 8:20. If you ask someone for the pet shop and they appear confused or actually try to direct you to a real pet shop, they’re not there for the meetup.”

“It’s mostly an attention-getting thing … so he can stay in the media,” feminist Anne Theriault told the Toronto Sun. “At the same time, events like this are intimidation tactics and should be taken seriously because women deserve to live in a city where people don’t have open public meetings about how rape should be legal.”

Cancelled.

Not surprising, really - Roosh, like Elam, is a con artist, making a comfortable living off the backs of lonely, desperate, frustrated men.

Glad though - there was a hell of a lot of talk of protests and these idiots are not the sort you want to let women get near. There wouldn't be any problems at the time, despite the talk these are not rippling chunks of testosterone made flesh, but their favored technique is to find a woman then group harass her online, including doxing and swatting as well as destroying her socially.

As you may have noticed, I have zero time and less sympathy for these pathetic dweebs.
