I was confused by Cruz as a Senator but if you look back on his term in the Senate as an extension of his run for President it makes a lot of sense and is quite remarkable.  Everything he has done has been positioning to this moment.  Both Rubio and Trump are part of the "Washington Cartel."  Bravo Senator Cruz.
