According to this chart (from the New York Times, though I hate to admit it), the vote expenditure may have been a little less:



But, multiply Bush's $5,200 per vote times a total of 5,200 votes for ONE delegate:
Did that single delegate cost him $27,040,000 ??

This actually lets some of the air out of the idea that money alone rules in politics and that is VERY encouraging!
