This brings the margin to .03%.

Votes from one precinct in Iowa were still missing Tuesday morning, and Democrats from that neighborhood scrambled to find party officials so that they could report their tally: Bernie Sanders won by 2 delegates over Hillary Clinton.

With Des Moines precinct No. 42's results, Clinton's excruciatingly close lead narrowed further, making the final tally for delegate equivalents in the Democratic Iowa caucuses:

Clinton: 699.57

Sanders: 697.77.

It quickly raised questions about whether Sanders had won the popular vote in Iowa. Sanders backers called for Iowa Democratic Party officials to release the raw vote totals....

There is no way they can hold back the raw vote totals now.  My guess is that Sanders wins there, albeit narrowly.

The coin flip was decisive.

And the DNC is refusing to do a recount.

The Iowa Democratic Party will not not do a recount, and the Sanders camp does not intend to challenge the results: http://apne.ws/1SqKcUu

And the DNC is refusing to do a recount.

I think Bernie just wants the raw vote totals released, not a recount.  That's probably good enough to him.  It's going to be an essential tie any way around it, even with a recount.  If the raw vote totals show him with more votes, he will claim victory and it will stick.  If not, he calls it a tie and moves on.

I doubt Sanders will do a recount. He knows this is a win for him, especially once this gets out that he's less than two delegates behind and lost on 6-for-6 tosses to Hillary.

The Iowa Democrat caucuses are a mechanism of the Iowa and National Democrat Party, not the State of Iowa, so any decision regarding awarding of delegates is up to Party fiat.    And, we all know the outcome of Dismal Debbie and her minions.

I suspect he'll get his revenge in New Hampshire with a surge of Vermont liberals coming to participate in their open primary.
