I truly WISH I could feel your optimism for Trump.  I cannot get behind a candidate who plainly stated that he needs to become more establishment.  I cannot get behind a candidate who Harry Reid approves of.  I cannot get behind a candidate who has been a registered DEM for years and has been 'buddies' with the Clintons.  I cannot get behind a candidate that does not know the ins and outs of running a government.  He has not done anything to prove what he says.  Big red flag for me.

Add to that list, is pro-abortion and has committed adultery multiple times, and you have the complete BIG red flag situation.
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

I just voted with one browser, turned around and voted again with another browser. I also have multiple devices I could end up voting 7 or 8 times. (Kind of lack Dems in Philly )

=====================================

Look at these number (taken 3 minutes ago) for just a second.

Using your assumption, and applying it evenly across the numbers, what do you get?

Numbers:

TRUMP  56.93%  (638,767 votes)

CRUZ  20.93%  (234,856 votes)

638,767 / 8 = 79,845 for Trump.

234,856 / 8 = 29,357 for Cruz.

Let's factor in human nature into this as well.

With the opportunity (as you say) to spam this poll, human nature motivates those supporting their candidate with FEWER votes to SPAM the poll.

Given this opportunity, why  haven't Cruz voters or any of the other candidate's voters spammed the hell out of this poll?

We're spoiled. We're mesmerized by Donald Trump and have been blinded to other candidates by Trump's brilliance.

That's easy Happy.  Cruz supporters have high moral values and would not pull that kind of thing.  Trump supporters, on the other hand, have no core values and cheat!   :chairbang:

Yes, I'm becoming more zombie-like by the day since I decided to move out of the undecided column and go with Trump.  I now limp and growl and want to bite people on the neck for no reason whatsoever.

For my support of Donald Trump I've been called a stooge, duped, stupid, emotional, irresponsible, a moron, vulgar, a bully, pathetic, needy (I wish I could remember all the names sinkspur used on me).
I don't think you are any of those things aligncare.  I just think you are wrong.  I'm sorry my side is so vitriolic.  We care, as much as you do, about the future.  Forgive us.

If Trump is the winner and turns out to be a Bill Clinton serial rapist adulterer I'll eat my words. But I seriously doubt that would happen. Trump is not Clinton. Wow his private life may not be all we would hope for. Professionally he is one hell of a poker player that I will stand behind if he is our nominee.

The same as I will do with Cruz or Rubio if either is the nominee.

If Trump was so bad I seriously doubt rush and Sean would be defending him. Just my opinion.

Hey,  I love a clown, too - but I'm not so irresponsible as to support a clown for President.   Clowns are for my kids' birthday parties - Trump supporters think this is some party game;  they preen about the polls, getting off on watching their Dear Leader bully the hated conservative "establishment".

All the Trump supporters reveal is how pathetic and needy they are.   The rest of us want to pick a President.

BINGO!

Trump is providing a bit of a public service by probably attracting people to politics that normally ignoring elections. With any luck at all some of them will stay around and pay attention.

For those doubting the integrity of this poll, do this:

For me it has nothing to do with integrity of the poll, and everything to do with online polls being a easy, impulsive way of "casting a vote".

I have no idea what percentage of the people that do online polls can actually be bothered to get up and go to the actual polling places on election day and cast actual polls is,but I'm guessing there will be a lot of the online people that won't be showing up.

I know plenty of people in real life that seem to have strong feelings about politics that  have never bothered to register or vote in their whole lives.

Cruz has even stated, that if he could not stop Trump in Iowa, he may be unstoppable.  If these polls are correct, the spread  for Trump and Cruz is huge -- we are talking a 38 point spread.  No one even comes close to Cruz. Rubio is the closest with 12 points separating the two and 50 points away from Trump.

IF the polls numbers are wrong and Trump is defeated, it will be interesting to see how he reacts.  If he wins ... it will be interesting to see who stays in, if anyone.

The real truth is the important of Iowa is grossly exaggerated by the media, and always has been. Simply because it is the first state to hold a primary, and the media are in the business of selling advertising.

Over 40 percent of Iowa voters identify themselves as socialists, and a large chunk of the remainder call themselves conservatives, but the truth is most of them are voting for welfare for rich farmers via the farm subsidy programs.

Iowa is about as representative of mainstream America as NYC.

Granted, the media-created frenzy about the Iowa primaries always ends up creating traction for the alleged Republicans and the Dims that "win",and hurts the campaigns of the ones that "lose",but it is short-lived.

Basically,it's just something to talk and write about in order to sell advertising.

Same with New Hampshire.

Ain't that a case of praising with faint damns?

Just look at who and what the alleged Republicans have had at the top of their tickets since Reagan left office.

I can't imagine how anyone can sit here and say that Donald Trump doesn't know the ins and outs of government! That's a statement made from pure ignorance.

Donald Trump (because of his business dealings around the world) knows government bureaucracies like I know the back of my hand. Donald Trump builds large, iconic buildings, and as such has intimate knowledge of government red tape and payola.

He's the perfect candidate to bust up that system.
