A rough crowd's moved into the neighborhood. But that's OK. I grew up in a rough Brooklyn neighborhood. We called our gang, the Sharks.

Notice how hostile they get when you tell them the truth?

Notice how hostile they get when you tell them the truth?

Again, you misunderstand.  Not hostile----Disgusted and repulsed.

Again, you misrepresent:  Not "truth"---- Trash talk

I wish you would take this somewhere else.

Truth? You can't handle the truth.

We have every indication that Trump will win Iowa. Consistent, strong polls, tremendous media attention. I bet you the average republican voter couldn't name one other Republican candidate, except for maybe Ted Cruz.

So what are the indicators Trump will lose Iowa? There are none.

Or, are you, too, just registering frustration with your fellow Republicans' audacity (stupidity?) for supporting Donald J Trump for president?

Right now most polls, however reliable they may be (and there's some indication they're not), have Trump and Cruz running neck and neck. You could make the case that Trump's a prohibitive favorite in a few early states, but not Iowa.

I agree Iowa is the first big hurdle. But, with this much national attention on Trump in the lead up to the caucuses, I don't see how he loses.

Ahhh, the "Once rape seems inevitable, you might as well lay back and enjoy it!" POV!

Often heard on Dim forums, and now becoming popular on conservative sites.

"Trump-bashtards" - is that anything like a Trumpkin, or a Trumpster, or Trumpteer or a Trump-bot?  Just curious.

Figured it was time for payback, Sanguine.   I only have some many cheeks to turn, darling.

Thanks for listing some of the many insulting names they drum up to describe those of us who support his run.

One other thought.

Donald Trump smartly secured three important endorsements for Iowa voters.

Phyllis Schlafly, Sarah Palin, and Jerry Falwell, Jr.

They love Sarah Palin in Iowa.

Trump is not likely to lose Iowa.

The scene: An isolated mountain cave.

The old man gazes at his young apprentice.

"To defeat Trump, you must become Trump"

The apprentice beams! "OK sensei. Trumpster! Trumpbot! Trump-loser!"

"I meant his wits, son. Not his mouth," The old man sighs.

You do realize that most of these polls are of Iowans in general  and not of just those who have a history of actually showing up and participating in the caucus. Cruz wins big in that category!

We finally have a proven winner, who's winning against a giant news corporation

You mean Fox News?  Strangely, I'm not all that happy about Trump bashing Fox.

I'm on the opposite side of the debate, and I completely agree with you.

I hope it settles, because I don't like the trend.......

Word. Supporters of other candidates call me nasty names all the time once they learn I'm a big Trump supporter.

And I've never reciprocated. I'm always respectful. But, nevertheless they call me names.

So who are the ones unhinged? Hmmm?

Sinkspur was the last... for saying exactly the same things being said now.

That is a ridiculous and unfair slander against this site.

Sinkspur was asked to leave for reasons that had nothing to do with his opinion on anything. His behavior against the members, mods, and owners, of this site simply became intolerable. He was warned countless times on civility. He ignored these warnings and if anything his behavior got worse.

He was aggressive, rude, insulting, and often vulgar. That is the only reason he is no longer here. Not because of any opinion he held about anything. That was not even a consideration.
