I appreciate the thoughtful and researched comments about Trump's background - but - is it convincing enough to change anyone's mind? Is this an effective tactic, or should you rethink the effort? Trump is non-stick, a lot like Bill Clinton in that respect. Luckily, he is running in our party and not the Democrat party. No one is saying this guy is "conservative" - those arguments are falling on deaf ears. At some point, idealists are going to have to face reality that a candidate that meets their ideals is not going to win.
I think most people are going to come to that conclusion about mid-February and then we're going to have to roll up our sleeves and get to work defeating the Democrats. I've had to work for candidates I don't like before, so I know how hard that is. I just don't think beating each other up is a good thing and if it makes you feel like you're putting out an effort to defeat Trump before it's too late, I can respect that. Just be aware that you are changing very few minds. It is what it is.
