New poll: White people are 'angriest' Americans
Limbaugh: 'When they're looting and rioting in Baltimore, St. Louis, stand back'

Radio host Rush Limbaugh ripped media coverage of a new NBC poll showing white people to be the “angriest” Americans.
The conservative media star said predominantly white groups are held to a different standard when they appear upset with government overreach, societal trends and injustice.

“There’s no reason whatsoever white people should ever be mad. And if you are, there’s something wrong with you and we’re gonna get to the bottom of it and probably find out you listen to talk radio,” Limbaugh said Tuesday.
“But when they’re looting and rioting in Baltimore, St. Louis, stand back. When they’re blowing up the World Trade Center we’re supposed to stand back and understand the rage and ask ourselves what are we doing that makes them so mad. But not when white people get mad. When white people get mad we condemn talk radio, we condemn white people and so forth. Very, very inconsistent.”
The NBC News/Survey Monkey/Esquire online poll released Sunday showed the following:
54 percent of whites said they are angrier now than one year ago.
43 percent of Latinos and 33 percent of blacks were angrier now than one year ago.
73 percent of whites are angry at least once per day.
66 percent of Hispanics and 56 percent of blacks are angry once per day.
61 percent of Republicans are angrier now than one year ago.
42 percent of Democrats are angrier now than one year ago.
Limbaugh said media coverage of white anger is liberal activism masquerading as objective reporting.

“You know, whenever you see white people are angry it’s just a disguised assault on what the left thinks is still the majority of the country. They hate majorities. They despise majorities. Majorities in their world, by definition, are corrupt and racist, bigoted, sexist, homophobic,” the conservative host said. “That’s why when Republicans are the majority … we start to hear about minority rule and minority power. … It’s an attack on the basic structure of the country disguised as, ‘We really care about violence and care about changing, and we really, really want to stop as much violence.’ And it’s not about that at all. Everything they do is political.”

President Obama has repeatedly defended the Black Lives Matter movement despite its supporters “open season on crackas” threats and “pigs in a blanket” chants.
Latausha Nedd, also know as Eye Empress Sekhmet, was arrested in Clayton County, Georgia, Sept. 24, after she allegedly declared “open season on crackas” in a YouTube video, WND reported.
Black Lives Matter supporters in St. Paul, Minnesota, were also caught on camera chanting, “Pigs in a blanket, fry ‘em like bacon” on Aug. 31, CBS News reported.
Obama asked policymakers to have patience with Black Lives Matter supporters while at a White House forum on criminal justice in October.
“We as a society, particularly given our history, have to take this seriously,” Obama said Oct. 22, WND reported. “And one of the ways of avoiding the politics of this and losing the moment is everybody just stepping back for a second and understanding that the African-American community is not just making this up.”
The Black Lives Matter movement formed in response to media coverage of the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida; the 2014 shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri; the 2014 death of Eric Garner in Long Island, New York; and the April 2015 death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore, Maryland.
