Bill Maher isn't any sort of Libertarian. He only uses that term in the hipster sense because it is popular to be an outsider but nothing I've heard him stand for comes close to being a Libertarian.

Mr Russel is right. Looking at Maher's body of work he is a Libertine not a Libertarian
