I didn't copy/paste your entire post above, but I agree with all of it.
That remains my great reservation about Mr. Trump. He's spent much of his life being "the boss" and the center of attention, but I sense he fails to grasp the responsibilities that a president has to the people, who elect and employ him.
If he does get himself elected, I would hope that the weight of this burden becomes undeniable when he walks into the Oval Office, and that he's got enough "inside" to grow into the task.
If he doesn't, it will be a rough ride ahead...
