They are saying it was a smash and grab robbery of jewelry store inside the mall.

The massive LE response indicates what islamic terror can accomplish.
Riverside is "adjacent" to San Bernardino, hence the hyper vigilance I suppose.  Just what terrorists (and common criminals) like to see.

Almost certainly a coincidence. I don't think we will see lone attackers very often...but people do get ideas. If robbery, then it isn't terror.
