Mother arrested for letting four-year-old play outside alone

Think I have concussion from rolling my eyes too hard

 A woman is facing up to six months in prison for letting her young son play alone at a playground 120 feet from her house.

Neighbours of Sonya Hendren in Sacramento, California, alerted Child Protection Services when they saw four-year-old Tomahawk playing on his own in their gated communty's play area.

Sonja Horrell, who called the authorities, told FOX40 that she and her daughter saw Tomahawk playing outside unattended for up to 20 minutes. They asked him to go home but, after he told them he wasn't ready to stop playing, they returned home and called child protective services.

I think she should have been arrested for naming him Tomahawk.

Though I'll take that over some fancy feminized name.

Seriously though, they would give my parents capital punishment if we were kids today. We were all over the place by ourselves.
