'Anonymous' Disowns the warning - UPDATE 4:45 p.m. EST: Anonymous later posted a tweet saying that it did not know where rumors of the planned attacks originated.

Quote
We did not spread any rumors about possible future ISIS attacks, and frankly, we do not know where the rumors come from.

UPDATE: 3:05 p.m. EST -- The FBI Saturday said in a statement it is aware of an alleged threat by the Islamic State group to stage an attack on a WWE event scheduled for Atlanta Sunday evening. However, FBI Special Agent in Charge J. Britt Johnson of the Atlanta office said the bureau did not have "specific or credible information of an attack."

The FBI is aware of reports of an alleged threat that includes an Atlanta, Georgia, venue and event. ... We have ... made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law-enforcement and private-sector partners to keep our community safe."

Original story:

Anonymous, the loose collective of online activists, said Saturday it has uncovered information about Islamic State group attacks in Paris as well as at locations in the U.S., Indonesia, Italy and Lebanon, all apparently set for Sunday. OpParisIntel, a group within Anonymous, released a statement saying it had collected information about imminent attacks by the militant group -- aka Daesh, ISIL and ISIS -- in the French capital a little more than a week after a series of coordinated attacks there left 130 dead and hundreds injured.

Anonymous also said the Islamic State group is planning an assault at the WWE Survivor Series event scheduled to take place in the Philips Arena in Atlanta Sunday at 7.30 p.m. EST, as well as attacks at multiple events in Paris.

The collective published the list of potential targets alongside a statement: "The goal is to make sure the whole world, or at least the people going to these events, know that there have been threats and that there is possibility of an attack to happen. Another goal is to make sure Daesh knows that the world knows and cancels the attacks, which will disorientate them for a while."

The targets listed by Anonymous are as follow:

Cigales Electroniques with Vocodecks, RE-Play & Rawtor at Le Bizen (Paris)
Concrete Invites Drumcode: Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Joel Mull at Concrete (Paris)
Demonstration by Collectif du Droit des Femmes (Paris)
Feast of Christ the King celebrations (Rome/Worldwide)
Al-Jihad, One Day One Juz (Indonesia)
    Five Finger Death Punch (Milan)
University Pastoral Day (Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon)

According to Anonymous: "We only appeared now because our goal was to remain undercover and report everything to the right authorities and let them take all the action. But when authorities do not take action, Anonymous does. This part of the op started last Monday and has [been] and will be active 24 hours a day as long as the op is going on."

Speaking to International Business Times, Anonymous said it had passed proof to the MI5 intelligence agency in the U.K., the CIA and FBI in the U.S., and the Australian government but that it has no plans to release the proof publicly. "If we share the proof [publicly], everyone will start calling it fake because screenshots can be edited and accounts can be deleted. We have purposely not shared account links publicly because they would be shut down immediately and then no one would believe the proof."

Anonymous declared war on the Islamic State group last week, vowing to track it down online as part of its Operation Paris (or OpParis). It has since released a guide for all those looking to take part in the operation, which already has identified tens of thousands of Twitter accounts it said are associated with the militant group while also taking some websites offline. The Islamic State group has responded to the threat by Anonymous, warning of a retaliatory attack on the activist group.

The latest: US Embassy warns citizens in Belgium: Stay some
Associated Press

BRUSSELS, Belgium (November 21, 2015) -- The latest on the deadly attacks in Paris. (All times local):

3:35 p.m.

The U.S. Embassy in Belgium has urged Americans in the country "to shelter in place and remain at home" after local authorities warned the threat of a terrorist attack in the Brussels area is serious and imminent.

In a statement on its website Saturday, the embassy said "if you must go out, avoid large crowds." It said it would provide updated information as it becomes available.

Brussels is home to the headquarters of the U.S.-led NATO alliance and the offices of many American and foreign companies.

The American mission urged U.S. citizens to "exercise caution in public transportation systems, sporting events, residential areas, business offices, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, schools, public areas, shopping malls, and other tourist destinations."

Belgium's government crisis center earlier Saturday raised the terrorism alert to its highest level, saying the threat of an attack is "serious and imminent."

The Paris prosecutor's office says authorities have released seven people detained during a deadly police raid linked to the Paris attacks.

Prosecutor's spokeswoman Agnes Thibault-Lecuivre says the eighth person detained during Wednesday's operation in an apartment in Saint-Denis remains in custody.

Suspect Jawad Bendaoud can be kept in custody up to six days in total under French anti-terrorism laws, before he must be charged or released.

Bendaoud said in televised remarks during the raid that he let people stay in the apartment as a favor and "didn't know they were terrorists." Among those targeted in the police operation was the suspected mastermind of the Paris attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, who was killed in the raid.

Paris police have extended a ban on demonstrations and other gatherings in the region through Nov. 30, with the city and country still on high alert after deadly attacks.

The French capital's police department issued a statement Saturday saying the ban is being extended because of "the current context," including a nationwide state of emergency that's been extended for three months.

The department notes extra security concerns around the arrival of more than 100 heads of state for the U.N. climate conference that starts in a week. A march by environmental groups scheduled for Nov. 29 has been canceled.

Police are requiring all major concert venues to install special security measures.

1:00 p.m.

A senior government official says Turkish authorities have detained a Belgian national of Moroccan origin who is believed to have been in contact with the Paris attackers.

The official said Saturday 26-year-old Ahmad Dahmani was detained in a luxury hotel in Antalya along with two other suspects. He said the three — suspected Islamic State militants — remained in custody following a court appearance.

The official says in an emailed message: "We believe that Dahmani was in contact with the terrorists who perpetrated the Paris attacks. The investigation continues."

Dahmani had arrived in Turkey from Amsterdam on Nov. 14, the official said. The three were preparing to cross the Turkish-Syrian border.

The official cannot be named because of Turkish government rules that bar officials from speaking to reporters without prior authorization.

Russia's interior minister says he will send a German shepherd puppy to the French police to honor a police dog killed in action and express solidarity with France in the aftermath of the Paris attacks.

France's National Police say a 7-year-old Belgian shepherd named Diesel was "killed by terrorists" on Wednesday during a raid in Saint-Denis, north of Paris.

Gen. Vladimir Kolokoltsevs said in a statement late on Friday that along with his condolences over the deadly attacks he will send to his French counterpart a puppy so that it "could replace Diesel."

Kolokoltsev said the puppy was named Dobrynya after a Russian fairy-tale knight who "symbolizes strength, goodness, valor and unconditional support."

Reports supposedly coming from Anonymous could be planted by just about anyone. What we don't need is a bunch of panic-inducing fake stories.

It is a catch 22 scenario.

Were there no attacks, or were the attacks thwarted by the warning? We'll never know.

That is the problem with Special Forces and spooks. The only way they are successful is when nobody knows that anything happened at all.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.
