Orban: ‘Migrant’ Crisis a Leftist Plot to Overwhelm Europe, Change Electorate

And who’s to say he’s wrong?

    The tide of migrants coming to Europe from the Middle East and Africa may be part of a left-wing plot to pack the continent with sympathetic voters, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has told a Swiss magazine. Orban’s anti-immigrant rhetoric and the border fences he has erected to block the wave of people fleeing war and poverty have made him a winner at home from a crisis that has divided Europe.

    “I am not brave enough to speak about this in public with certainty, but you cannot get around imagining that some kind of master plan is behind this,” he said in an interview with Die Weltwoche published on Thursday. He cited essays by “the European left and radical American democrats” that envision the emergence of a European super state to the detriment of traditional nation-states.

Well, gee, it sure worked that way in Britain, where the Labour government made overwhelming immigration from Muslim countries part of its policy to change the electorate, something The Telegraph has called “borderline treason.” Although what’s “borderline” about it, I don’t know.

    “Migration is seen as an opportunity … All indications and experience suggest that the overwhelming majority of these migrants will vote for the left once they become citizens, so future leftist voters are being imported to Europe,” Orban said.

    Asked why conservatives such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel had offered a welcome to migrants, he said: “Many of us are racking our brains about this. Germany is the key. If the Germans tomorrow morning said ‘We are full, that’s it’, the flood would stop immediately.” He said he suspected Merkel’s hands were tied by her coalition with the center-left Social Democrats.

Whatever the case, Merkel will down as one of European history great villains. Assuming there is any more European history.

Why would they need to change an electorate that has been nearly exclusively socialist for decades?  I think it is more putting their philosophy into actual practice - and seeking any possible way to make their socialism economically viable for a little while longer (bringing in cheap labor to fill tax coffers that their own stagnant native population can no longer fill) and, yes, perhaps paving the way for a European super-state, which would also fit the universal communist theory very well.  Eventually socialist nations collapse on their own - due to their innate unreality and illogic.  Perhaps they want to be sure that the European super-state will not be anything other than totalitarian when it does happen.

It's not about "socializing" Europe (they are already there). It is about de-Westernizing Europe; introducing an essentially foreign culture and also, a foreign faith.

My girlfriend grew up in communist Hungary and lauds the good old days of communism (needless to say we don't talk politics). However, she likes Orbán, the right-winger, since he took this tough stand against the Muslim invaders. I guess there's still hope for her.

Perhaps, but it is Europeans doing this themselves. They must have motivation to do it somewhere, for some reason they think it beneficial to whatever goals they maintain.

More precisely - it's the European elites, who are not that much different from our own: wealthy, physically insulated, collectivist, and internationalist.
