Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina appeared on the show “The View” on Friday. She talked issues, and things got contentious when the subject of abortion came up.

“The View” co-host Joy Behar asked:

    Let’s talk about issues for a second. You believe that a feminist is a woman who lives the life she chooses, which we all applaud. Yet it seems to me that you are against programs that would let women make choices for their lives. For example, I read, and maybe you can correct this, that you would like to overthrow Roe v. Wade,  you’re against government mandated maternity leave, which is a woman’s issue, and you’re against raising the minimum wage, [but] a lot of women are working low wage jobs an really the minimum wage, and really the minimum wageI think, is a great idea, so how do you reconcile these two positions.

Fiorina replied:

    You just went through the litany of the left, if I may say. That is the litany of the left - that the only way you can be pro-woman is to agree with the left’s prescriptions for women. Here’s the problem, though - the prescriptions that you laid out aren’t helping women. You’ve laid out a bunch of stuff. Let’s just start with abortion. I mentioned common ground. Actually, the Ameripan people have found common ground on this issue. Whether you’re pro-choice or pro-life - I’m pro-life - whether you’re pro-choice or pro-life the majority of Americans are horrified  by the reality that we’re harvesting baby parts through late term abortion.

     

At this point co-host Whoopi Goldberg interjected. “Carly, I need to stop you. Because you know that’s not true. Carly, you know no one’s harvesting baby parts. Carly, come on, girl.”

Fiorina replied, "It’s interesting that Planned Parenthood just announced that they would no longer take compensation for that.” Behar then said to Fiorina, “Please don’t say things like that that are not true. That offends my sensibility to hear you say something like that when you know it’s not true.”The hosts then changed the subject to “what you would like to see women dealing with.” Florina praised community health centers and pregnancy centers, argued that women do better in a  meritocracy, and said that “the litanies of the left" are “driving women into poverty and unemployment.”

Carly cleaned their clock.  I hope there was at least one thinking woman watching the show (ok....... so there probably wasn't).

Maybe Carly is the one to get through to the brainwashed women in this country.  I hope she stays in the race a very, very long time.

From the description above, it's fun hearing the politically correct ladies trying to attack Fiorina while still showing deference to a "sis-ta." A pro-life man would be bleeding from the neck where the Ladies of The view tried to tear out his jugular.

If so, then we must acknowledge that "the left" is no less a danger to us than is islam.

islam's increasing putsch to take over the world presents us with two choices:
1. submit, or
2. crush it out of existence (as it fully intends to do to us).

We face the same two choices with the left.
If you want to end the incrementalism -- not just "pause it" -- you must "end" the left.

The country faced a similar choice in 1861.

Conceivably, it may come to that - but I rather doubt it. The boundaries are being moved every day, almost imperceptibly most days, but also in large jumps with certain SCOTUS rulings and elections. Obamacare. The Left is tireless, relentless and never discouraged.
