EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

The Evansville City Council race completely changes the dynamics of city council with at least four new members on tap for 2016.

With the hotly contested at-large seats up for grabs, newcomer Michelle Mercer (R) held on for a spot, plus sitting council president Dan Adams (D) and Democrat Jonathan Weaver (D).

With John Friend (D), Stephanie Brinkerhoff-Riley (D), Conor O’Daniel (D), and Al Lindsey (D) not running, new comers like Anna Hargis (R), Justin Elpers (R), and Jim Brinkmeyer (D) were elected to replace them.
