Democrats win their largest N.J. Assembly majority in 36 years

Not sure this reflects too well on Christie.

"TRENTON — Democrats tightened their control of the state Assembly in Tuesday's elections, wresting three seats away from a Republican party ruled by Gov. Chris Christie, a presidential candidate whose popularity has dropped at home.

It means Democrats will control 51 seats in the 80-seat lower house as of January — their biggest majority since 1979.

Democrats picked up one seat in south Jersey's 1st District and, in the biggest upset of the night, picked off two Republican incumbents in the Shore's 11th District.

Democrats also control the state Senate, the upper house of the Legislature — which was not on the ballot Tuesday — in a state where registered Democratic voters outnumber Republicans 1.7 million to 1 million.

"This was a referendum on the Democratic Party and the policies we have supported," said Assembly Majority Leader Lou Greenwald (D-Camden), who easily won re-election. "It should we are in touch with voters."

About the only positive thing that can be said about this outcome is, after all, this is Jersey.

Yes, it maybe New Jersey, but that doesn't bode well for Christie either way.  He was liberal enough to get elected, but not conservative enough to be able to resonate a conservative message.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
