Hillary Clinton is due to meet with Black Lives Matter activists Friday, a sit-down being billed by group members as a chance to inject their political and cultural views into a leading presidential campaign.
“We meet with Hillary tomorrow AM,” wrote Black Lives Matter leading member Deray McKesson, in a tweet on Thursday. “I’m looking forward to the convo & hopeful the convo will influence her platforms.”

The meeting is set for somewhere in Washington, D.C., a Clinton campaign official confirmed to NBC News.
Black Lives Matter activists have managed to meet with Democratic Party presidential contender Bernie Sanders in recent weeks, as well as with Sen. Elizabeth Warren. The meet-and-greet with Clinton was set up in late September, as WND previously reported.
On Sept. 21, he wrote: “@HillaryClinton we look forward to the details of your criminal justice platform. Will you be available to meet before its release?”

And Hillary Clinton’s Twitter feed responded: “@deray Let’s meet, we want to hear from anyone ready to address this urgent problem and work toward solutions. Out team will follow up.”
