Education Secretary Arne Duncan is leaving his post in December, Fox News confirmed Friday.

Duncan has spent seven years in the Obama administration. President Obama has named Education Department official John King Jr. as acting secretary through the end of his term.

No, he's going to get up there and be President Petulant. He will whine about the unwillingness of the law abiding to give up their 2nd amendment rights. He'll say he's setting up a task force or instituting a ban on guns on federal property or some such nonsense. Finally, he'll complain that the evil, Republican, bitter-clingers, then slink off to play another round of golf.

It will probably be something along the lines of: "we have given congress a change to act and they have refused to do so. I am issuing an executive order to do xxxxx until Congress is able to take action..." The action will probably be along the lines of telling the ATF to stop approvals of 4473s until congressional action is taken. (this way he can say he isn't changing the law but only instructing a department under him how to operate).

Like Kerry the past few days, he is still improperly using the term 'deconfliction'. He is using it in the form of reducing conflict. The actual term means to avoid hazards on your own size or friendly fire.
