OJ Simpson has some legal advice for Donald Trump [VIDEO]

JUN. 10, 2023 11:14 AM BY THE RIGHT SCOOP

In light of the indictment of Donald Trump, OJ Simpson took to Twitter yesterday to share the best legal advice he’d ever been given.

And it was clearly a message to Trump.

It’s in the first 1:10 seconds of the video below:

@corbe

Thanks,but I am afraid of "30 day free" plans,and the problems they can cause when the 30 days runs out and you don't buy  the plan.

Right now I  am VERY "vexed" at Norton for selling me a virus protection program that was NOT cheap,and having that program include  software that told me I needed to upgrade  immediately for $79.95 if you don't want  to be turned into a frog!"

"Vexed" to the point I sent them a nastygram about this,and am considering demanding a full refund of the money I have already paid them.

Been a Norton customer since I got my first computer,and this crap is staring to really get me steamed.

   Malwarebytes does not ask for a credit card upon the 30 day free trial. Don't ever give them a cc number and they can't charge you, simple as that.  Just delete/uninstall the APP when done.

Ok,since I now  plan on deleting Norton if I hear  what I expect to hear from them,what anti-virus  programs do you  all recommend?

Please keep in mind  that I am not a computer pro,and I am on a limited budget.

Just doing that (removing Norton) can be quite a challenge as it spreads itself all over your hard drive and running the uninstall program just makes you think it's gone @sneakypete .  I've had to wipe the whole thing (hd) off and start over to actually get rid of it in the past.  Now I won't even allow it in the same room with any machine I own.

This might sound unbelievable to you, but the standard MS Defender that comes free with Windows now has worked just fine around here for years normally with three computers on the network all the time.

Not up to  reformatting any hard drives at this point in my life,though. Chemo fried my short-term memory,and I get confused from just changing screens to check my email. This is one of the reasons I get into so many political arguments here. People challenge me to post info I post,and I can't remember where I got it from.

I can actually remember back to wearing diapers in color,but have no freaking clue as to what I did,said,or who I saw and talked with  3 days ago.

LOL! I know! It's a LOT easier than it used to be but I hope you don't have to do it. @sneakypete

And BTW: I can remember every detail of something that happened 50 or 60 years ago but what I had for breakfast this morning is sometimes a challenge.

This is clearly punishment for us not having had enough fun while we were still young enough to have fun.

I am not sure it is all MY fault,though. It's not like I didn't try.

Basically... Nothing. If you ain't high risk, going to porn sites or hacker sites, or un-reputable movie sites, AND YOU ARE CONSISTENTLY BEHIND A ROUTER, and not at public sites, you're probably alright with Microsoft's onboard AV and firewall.

This box I am on seldom leaves this house, and I have *NO* added security features beyond the stock Windows stuff... It has never had a virus in years, and I can back that up, because I keep Emsisoft's EEK Emergency kit onboard as a secondary system and check it frequently.

Now, if you don't want to play nice...

The king is still Kaspersky IMHO. But just their AV... If you get the full suite it's a fat pig.
Eset's NOD is top shelf.

Either of those if you are high risk.

Sophos is super too - and free. It is an end-point rig, so not a lot of controls in your box... you have to go online to do all that... But it is good. really good.

My house is Kaspersky on the operational boxen... All the stuff that might come in contact with boxes coming across my bench...

The rest of it, all the business stuff and media stuff is (paid) Sophos.

I use ESet's NOD32 Antivirus and highly recommend it. I also agree to only install NOD32 and not the full suite of Internet protection programs.

I will say that there is substantial risk just reading the news and/or visiting other various mainline sites due to the ad servers. I've had multiple virus/trojan blocking events due to infected ads on otherwise common sites. If you use the internet, you need protection - at least on a Windows based machine.

@Bigun

YEP. Just check back every now and then with a good alternative on-demand scanner.

Emsisoft's EEK is one I use a lot. Emsisoft is the old A-Squared trojan hunter, so I have been with em since Hector was a pup.

Their EEK kit installs to your root directory and does nothing. It is all on-demand. But it has a built in updater for both the program and the defs, so just running it will update it to the newest version and defs.

That little kit is on most all of my boxes, just sitting there. But when it is needed, it is still among the best... It is a badass hunter/killer.

I can recommend other on-demand scanners, but I like this one the best. And I have a paid subscription that I maintain, even though I don't use their main software much. I use the dickens out of that EEK kit.

Ain't been bit in years and years... But then, I also run Ublock Origin add-on in all my browsers, so ad scripts are all blocked. I never see em. If you are not running an ad-blocker you ought to be.
