With things growing increasingly desperate for the fading Granny Clinton, expect her to lurch even further left trying to win back the base of her party. Good luck with that since most of the left seems to be drifting toward that freak show Bernie Sanders.
Hillary Clinton’s support has fallen by 21 percentage points since July, according to the latest national ABC News/Washington Post poll released Monday.
Meanwhile, support for Donald Trump has surged to 33 percent, a 9-point jump during the same period and a further sign that the billionaire business mogul is in a commanding position in the Republican primary ahead of this week’s GOP debate.
Among self-identified Democrats and those leaning toward voting for a Democratic candidate, a solid plurality of 42 percent backed the former secretary of state. But it’s a decrease of 21 points since the last poll in July, and it comes as both Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Vice President Joe Biden contend for second place, at 24 percent and 21 percent, respectively. (Biden has not yet said whether he will run.)
Clinton received low marks on trustworthiness, with just 39 percent of all voters saying she is honest and trustworthy, versus to 56 percent who said she is not. A majority of 55 percent disagreed with the way she has handled the roiling email scandal.
At the same time, just 44 percent of voters said they viewed Clinton’s use of private email as secretary of state as a legitimate issue for the election, while 49 percent said they did not. A majority of 54 percent to 32 percent said Clinton has been trying to cover up the facts rather than be forthcoming about the situation.
The numbers in New Hampshire and Iowa are just brutal.

Clinton, the former secretary of state who some expected would waltz into next year’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia wearing coronation robes, is 20 percentage points behind Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire.
Sanders has a natural advantage in the Granite State, which adjoins his home state of Vermont.
But even in Iowa, where Clinton has worked overtime to cast herself as an everywoman who would be the champion of ‘ordinary Americans,’ Sanders now leads her by 10 points.
Sanders, meanwhile, is thrilled another socialist is heading his party in Britain, while others are justifiably alarmed.
