Moat for Gaza! Egypt to Build Moat Around Hamas Terror State
Everyone is sick of Gaza

Gaza is a concentration camp. With five-star hotels. Gaza is an open air prison. With thousand of Hamas millionaires, shopping malls and water parks.

It's also a great place to launch some rockets at Israel, then store them back in a UNRWA school. Kill some Egyptian soldiers and then run and hide in a mosque. Everyone except leftists is sick and tired of Gaza.

Egypt, whose people recently overthrew its Muslim Brotherhood terror tyrants, is really sick of Gaza. So they're building a moat.

After clearing away villages and farms within 3 to 5 kilometers of its border with Gaza, Egypt on Monday embarked on the second stage of its plan to protect itself from Hamas terrorists and tunnel smugglers – the construction of a medieval-style moat around Gaza.

The moat, officials expect, will prevent tunnels from being built, as Gaza tunnel diggers will be unable to dig deep enough to go under the moat. The moat will be filled with seawater from the Mediterranean.

It's not known if Egypt plans to stock the moat with alligators or other similar natural deterrence methods.

This might be a good idea for our border with Mexico where cartel tunnels have become a serious national security threat.

The Egyptians are getting smart, like the Israelis.

Like the Israelis, they too understand that "walls" (and moats) simply work, as passive barriers to multitudes of people.

Something our own leaders should learn about our southern border.

The American people certainly understand the concept -- wasn't there a survey within the past few days (may have been posted here) showing that something like 63% of those surveyed support the idea of "building a wall"?

Ah, just waiting for the RyeKnows to chime in and remind me (and you) that "walls don't work"....!
