Seething from her announcement in support of the Iran nuclear deal, constituents from Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz's district have called for her to resign her office immediately for having betrayed the will of her voters. Schultz, who had delayed announcing her position on the deal and under severe pressure from many of her constituents to renounce the deal, on Sunday, Sept. 6 said she would support the Iran nuclear agreement.

In a five-and-half-page statement released to The Miami Herald on Sunday, Debbie Wasserman Schultz outlined her reasoning for supporting the agreement.

“I have subsequently come to the conclusion that the agreement promotes the national security interests of the United States and our allies and merits my vote of support ...” she wrote. “This agreement is not perfect. But I join many in the belief that with complex, multilateral, nuclear non-proliferation negotiations with inherent geopolitical implications for the entire world, there is no such thing as a ‘perfect’ deal.”

It didn’t take long for thousands of Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s constituents to call for her “immediate resignation for having betrayed the trust of those who voted for her” and for “going against the will of the majority of her constituents.” An August Quinnipiac poll showed Florida voters oppose the pact 61 percent to 25 percent.

Just last week, hundreds of protestors gathered outside of Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s Aventura, Florida office to urge her to vote against the Iran nuclear agreement.

Many of the protestors accused Schultz – who also is the Chair of the Democratic National Committee and an avid advocate for the policies of President Barack Obama – of hedging her bets on the Iran deal for purposes of political expediency while giving a backseat to the existential threat a nuclear Iran poses to Israel. Schultz’s district has the second highest percentage of Jews in the state.

"If she can live with herself and sleep at night and have blood on her hands, then so be it. That's her choice," said Racheli Refaael, who is against the deal.

David Leo, who lives in Aventura, part of Wasserman Schultz’s district and home to a large number of Jewish residents is one of the leaders of the “Wasserman Schultz Must Go” movement. He said that Debbie Wasserman Schultz has placed her role as DNC Chairwoman and as Obama’s “head cheerleader” above the security of Israel and the United States.

“This is nothing more than a politically expedient decision with no regard to the true will of her constituents and the country as a whole,” said Leo. “She is a self-serving politician; a narcissist whose only concern is being re-elected. Not this time, Debbie.”

First elected to Congress in 2003, Debbie Wasserman Schultz has never held a job in the private sector and has worked as either a political staffer or publicly elected official since graduating from college in 1990. Some have levied charges against Schultz that she’s come to view her elected office as an “entitlement program.”

Leo says that Debbie Wasserman Schultz has tried to paint her decision as one based on factual analysis, consultations with national security advisors and classified information. But the reality is, says Leo, Wasserman Schultz’s decision was a foregone conclusion, one based solely on what she believes is in the best interests of Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

“The Jewish community is not a stupid community,” said Leo. “We’ve supported Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the past in part because she is one of our own and someone we thought would act in the best interests of America and our most reliable ally in the Middle East, Israel. Clearly, we were wrong. With Debbie it’s all about Debbie. That’s an irrefutable fact.”

Leo said he thinks that hundreds of thousands of voters will sign a petition being circulated around South Florida calling for Wasserman Schultz to resign immediately.

“Debbie’s gone too far this time,” said Leo. “Widespread condemnation is mounting. She will not be re-elected. Count on it.”

She may or may not be re-elected, but another democrat certainly will in that district.

Count on it!

Heard on the talk shows the "Destruction of Israel will be done by the Liberal Jews and no one else". With leaders in the Jewish community like Blabber Mouth Schultz supporting IRAN deal that quote makes a lot of sense **nononono*
