 Jindal: ‘Immigration Without Assimilation Is Invasion

    Republican presidential candidate Bobby Jindal told John Dickerson on “Face the Nation” that immigrants who “want to come to our country should come legally,” but need to assimilate themselves into American culture.

    JINDAL: A smart immigration policy makes our country stronger. We need to insist that people that want to come to our country should come legally, should learn English and adopt our values, roll up their sleeves and get to work. One of thing I’ve been emphasizing as a son of immigrants who came here legally. We need to insist upon assimilation. Immigration without assimilation is invasion… Let’s forget this politically correct left notion that we’re not a melting pot anymore.

I like Bobby Jindal and think he would make a good president.  Unfortunately, he is low in the polls and I don't see him being able to survive till the primaries.  He has only raised around $600,000.00 and just doesn't have the money behind him.

Presidential politics is as much about leadership as it is about policy.  Jindal may have policiy but lacks leadership skills.  Rinse and repeat with most of GOP field.

Agree Bobby J is a good conservative man. He will be in someone's cabinet when a CONSERVATIVE takes the WH. BUSHIE is not a conservative???
