Ex-MP Harvey Proctor denies child abuse claims
« on: August 26, 2015, 06:24:40 am »
A former MP has said he is "completely innocent" of claims of child abuse and murder, a day after being questioned by police for a second time.

Harvey Proctor said the claims had "wrecked" his life and called for senior police officers to resign.

He was interviewed under caution as part of Operation Midland, an inquiry into claims powerful men abused children in the 1970s and 1980s.

Tom Symonds reports.

This is a story I've been following over here but not really posted about much since it's a long and ongoing saga.

Basically there was a paedophile ring involving a large number of our MPs and Peers running in the 70s and 80s (slightly into the 90s). It's a huge scandal, but isn't going to have a whole lot of fall out. The various party leaders at the time are all dead, so there is no real way of doing the collective punishment of the assholes.
