Eyewitnesses in al-Anbar province announced on Thursday that 25 women and children were killed in shelling targeted Fallujah Hospital.

Eyewitnesses in al-Anbar province announced on Thursday that 25 women and children were killed in shelling targeted Fallujah Hospital.

The witnesses said that ” Fallujah Hospital for Women and Children, located west of the city, came under heavy shelling, which resulted in the killing of 25 women and children and 30 others injured, including female cadres belonging to the hospital.”

Witnesses said that “the dead bodies were transferred to the forensic medicine department and the wounded to Fallujah General Hospital for treatment.”

Officials and tribal leaders asserted in earlier times, that ISIS is using civilians as human shields.
