  • Words full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Slowly moving back to his old pro-amnesty self.

Quote
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that after getting out the “bad” illegal immigrants, he would get the others out and “have an expedited way of getting them back into the country so they can be legal,” because “when somebody’s terrific, we want them back here” legally, adding that with DREAMers “We’re going to something” in an interview aired on Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead.”....

....Trump elaborated that he would give these illegal immigrants, “Legal status,” not citizenship, but, “later down the line, who knows what’s going to happen.” He clarified that this meant citizenship would be “something I would think about,....

...I mean, a lot of people don’t understand that, but the DREAMers, it’s a tough situation, we’re going to do something, and one of the things we’re going to do is expedite — when somebody’s terrific, we want them back here, but they have to be legally –.”....

What shot Trump to the top of the polls initially? He won over multitudes with his immigration rhetoric. Sadly, included in that number, where several conservative celebrities, who used their pulpit to recruit others. He will build a great wall and Mexico would pay for it, he said - and people fell for it hook line and sinker.  What Trump seems to be proposing now would in fact be a  pathway to citizenship at best, and full blown amnesty at worse.  Like every other candidate.

So tell me, where does Trump stand out from the crowd now on issues? What issues is he more conservative on?   Come on Trump supporters, waiting for your to list. Convince me. Change my mind about him, here is your chance.

Every other candidate?  No quite true.  Ted Cruz is anti-amnesty..."boots on the ground and build a wall"....” The first phase of the senator’s immigration strategy, following the liquidation of the amnesty program, is to mine the 1,989 mile long border between the U.S. and Mexico. “We’ve got over eleven million land mines sitting in storage, paid for by taxpayers like yourselves,” Cruz told the audience, adding, “It’s time we put them to use.”

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.
