The USDA restored access to its site after it was down for at least 30 minutes. During the outage, some sections of the agency’s website, such as its databases, remained functional.
The cause of the outage wasn’t immediately known. A USDA spokeswoman said earlier that the agency was working to quickly resolve the problem.
