University Says People Should Take A Pic Of Themselves Holding Up Sign Saying “YES! We Agree To Have SEX!” For It To Be Consent

The “rape culture” hysteria has just reached its peak.

At the University of Minnesota, students are encouraged to take a picture holding up a sign reading “Yes, we agree to have sex” before engaging in intercourse to avoid any possible after-effects, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting.

It’s part of a new “affirmative consent,” or “yes means yes” movement that is so insane it’s almost unbelievable.

The school’s new rule, says that sex is OK only if both parties express consent through “clear and unambiguous words or actions.” Absent that, it would fit the U’s definition of sexual assault.

The insane new “suggestion” has raised nary an eyebrow at the university, but it has widespread implications.

“Once that accusation has been made, it’s somehow up to the accused person to prove they did have consent,” said Robert Shibley, executive director of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), a civil liberties group in Philadelphia. “What that means is that they’re guilty until proven innocent.”

One of the major advocates of “affirmative consent” is this group. They’re distributing the sign that’s encouraging partners to take a picture of.

They even sell an “affirmative consent” t-shirt with an image of a “contract” that allows two people to have sex:
