AWFUL! Barack Obama Announces Plan to CENSOR Fox News (MUST READ)

There is no question that President Barack Obama doesn’t support Fox News. After all, they are the only major network which actually does their job: to be skeptical of those in power. He a a life-long community organizer and knows how to push ideological buttons, which is why he ripped the entire network as anti-poor bigots during a recent poverty summit.

And while there are secret efforts to control Fox News through the FCC, now Obama is being completely open about his censorship agenda. Obama announced to the world he wants to “change how the media reports.”

I think that the effort to suggest that the poor are sponges, leeches, don’t want to work, are lazy, are undeserving, got traction. And look, it’s still being propagated. I have to say that if you watch Fox News on a regular basis, it is a constant venue. They will find folks who make me mad. I don’t know where they find them. They’re all like, “I don’t want to work. I just want a free Obama Phone, or whatever.” And that becomes an entire narrative that gets worked up. And very rarely do you hear an interview of a waitress, which is much more typical — who is raising a couple of kids and doing everything right but still can’t pay the bills.
 
And so, if we’re going to change how Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) and Sen. Mitch McConnell think, we’re going to have to change how our body politic thinks, which means we’re going to have to change how the media reports on these issues, and how people’s impressions of what it’s like to struggle in this economy looks like. And how budgets connect to that. And that’s a hard process because that requires a much broader conversation than typically we have on the nightly news.

This is un-American and un-constitutional. America deserves a free press, and there is no reason to shut down a network simply because it supports traditional American views. The left can’t win debates so they often try to silence their opposition. And Obama is using his apparently endless power to silence Fox. And he’s announcing it, in hopes of scaring the network into being softer in their White House coverage.

Stated it before, but my concern is that he will do it by EO and let it play thru the courts, which move slowly.

If he does it six weeks prior to the election, it could get real ugly.

Maybe I am just older wiser, have been around the rodeo a few more times, but..........

I am generally disappointed in the skill level and effectiveness of conservatives to make convincing arguments for the policies and positions, of the political center-right.

The left is more effective. They gauge the population more accurately.

Conservatism is playing to a shrinking demographic, and a dying generations. And to some fading beliefs, too.

Conservatism had better sharpen their arguments about capitalism, for instance. Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, have incomes on par with the US, and they appear to young Americans to be just fine. So what's the big fear, over socialism?

I very rarely hear anybody on the right, that can explain it at all. I think it is partly that their "base" want to hear mainly about gays, and illegal immigrants, not the economy.
