Former Obama Admin Aide Rapes 2 Women, Gets No Jail Time for INSANE Reason

With the aid of a complicit media, liberals have become untouchable when it comes to nefarious and even criminal behavior under the Obama Administration.
A serious double standard now exists; conservatives involved in scandals and crimes are still held accountable, while such actions committed by Democrats are typically ignored.
Case in point: last year, Donny Ray Williams, a former Democrat congressional aide, pleaded guilty to raping two women. According to reports, in 2010, Williams subdued his first victim, an intern, by drugging her with Ambien before assaulting her. Later that year, he raped his second victim, who was too drunk to give proper consent.
But Williams will not be serving any jail time.
The outrageous reason why Williams got off so lightly after assaulting two women? In 2013, as Williams was walking down Washington Street, a man attacked him by pouring acid on his face and body, leaving him with disfiguring and debilitating injuries. His lawyer used those injuries as an excuse to convince the judge into giving him five years probation in lieu of prison time.
Judge Robert Morin justified the soft sentence by saying that Williams “was a victim of an independent crime and has serious medical issues.” (H/T UFP News)
After the 2013 attack, Williams spent two months in the hospital and was left blind in one eye with terrible second- and third-degree burns. He has undergone nearly 20 surgeries with more scheduled, and has a large protuberance on the top of his head due to ongoing treatment.
As far as the two rapes go, Williams, who had denied the allegations in the past, pleaded guilty claiming that he needed to focus on his health after the attack and not a trial.
Said Williams in court,
“How easy it is for men to use power to abuse. Rape is cowardly, shameful and downright evil. I promise, I will protect a woman’s right to her own body.”
While he now claims to be jobless and $1 million in debt, Williams began his career at the Capitol in 1999. He spent years working with politicians such as Sen. Mary Landrieu and Sen. Herb Kohl.
He also worked in the Obama administration as the general deputy assistant secretary for congressional and intergovernmental relations in the Department of Housing and Urban Development between April 2009 and October 2010, and served as a staff director for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee.
Nothing can replace what has been taken from Williams; the attack on him, and the resultant injuries, are hard to comprehend. But that does not excuse him from taking something from the two women he brutally raped, which they too, can never regain.
Yet again, we see another case of political correctness run amuck. Ever playing the victim card, a black man with connections to the Democrats and the Obama administration, gets a pass on a horrific crime.
