We were under a watering restriction at our old house about 10-years ago.  Even though the watering was severely restricted we still got nasty-grams from our HOA about our brown lawn.   :nono:

We moved to a non-HOA area shortly thereafter.   :laugh:

Amazing they are getting away with this. Agriculture uses %80 of the water. almond growers use 10 percent.
