Obama Lied! He Has Known All Along That Iran is Only 4 Months From Making Atomic Bombs

Barack Obama will say anything he thinks he needs to for effect at the moment his lips are moving. He and his administration have been lying about Iran and their nuclear capability for at least three years.
Speaking with CNM in 2013 here’s what President Obama had to say about Iran and their nuclear capability.
“I have been crystal clear about my position on Iran possessing a nuclear weapon. That would be a RED LINE for us…”
That “Red Line” thingy should’ve been the giveaway. After watching this president for the last six years were pretty sure that the words “red line” are a signal to the enemies of the United States to just go ahead and do what the hell ever they wanted to do.
We’ve never seen a “leader” who would consistently make a clear, declarative statement indicating actions would have negative consequences and almost immediately redefine the consequences out of the actions.
Well, that was then and this is now.
Speaking to reporters and editors at our Washington bureau on Monday, Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz acknowledged that the U.S. has assessed for several years that Iran has been two to three months away from producing enough fissile material for a nuclear weapon. When asked how long the administration has held this assessment, Moniz said: “Oh quite some time.”
We suspect Secretary Moniz better have his resume updated and polished.
The question is, why would the president and his administration lie about Iran’s breakout time to build a nuclear weapon? Other, of course, then the fact that there simply congenital liars.
It’s obvious today that they lied to sell the political convenience that they needed at that time. Just like “you can keep your doctor,” as we know now that was the Big Lie.
In 2013 the president lied about Iran’s breakout because Congress was debating slapping Iran with new sanctions. President Obama, the Great Friend of Iran, was doing everything he could to remove sanctions and wanted to drive a stake through the heart of the debate. So he lied.
In fact, the president went out of his way to contradict Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the subject. Netanyahu insisted that Iran was about six months away from nuclear capability and Obama contradicted him, knowing Netanyahu was right.
So today, why is the administration pushing the case that Iran is just three months away?
It’s a matter of political convenience. Today Iran’s Great Friend needs to create the idea that Iran so close to a nuke that the only thing that can save the world is the Obama/Kerry Iran deal.
What I really holding out any hope that Congressional Republicans can stop Obama’s handshake with Iran, but we are hoping the nut cases in Tehran will go so far afield that they will end up killing the deal.
