Ted Cruz Says President Obama Is an 'Unmitigated Socialist'

I used to think Obama was just dumb and incompetent.  But his actions since reelection have proven me wrong: He's deliberately working against American and allied interest.

When you can show me where FDR worked with the Japanese in attacking Pearl Harbor...or hamstrung our military in fighting the Nazis, then I'll agree with you that Obama doesn't pose the threat to our country.  And that we've been 'here' before.

IMO, we haven't.

That's two different subjects.

Socialism, the socioeconomic structuring of a country is different than the act of destroying our nation's traditional positions in the world and destroying relations with our long-standing allies whim embracing our enemies.

That's why I disagreed with truth_seeker. 

I agree.  Socioeconomic policies can come and go.   

What we've got going on now is not only in a different league....it's a different sport altogether.

I don't think Obama is a socialist. To call a person a socialist would imply that they have some underlying philosophy, and a plan for the country. I do not believe that Obama has any of these things.

Obama is a 'nothing-ist'. He is a 'doesn't give a crap - ist'. He cares nothing about what happens to America or the America economy or people. His deal is more of a Muslim anarchist. He doesn't care about what happens, as long as traditional America is destroyed. What comes next is not his concern.

Part of this 'don't care' attitude is because Obama is not Amercian. Regardless or where he was born, he is not vested in the American ethos and considers himself to be outside of what America is. That is why he keeps pushing the 'citizen of the world' definition of himself. It is as if even to say, "I am an American.", is somehow exclusionary and racist. As he said explicitly and outloud, "Everyone in the world is an American." in his opinion.

The point is that Obama is not about 'socialism' or building a utopia. He is only about destruction of what is, not the construction of what will be.

That is why he has instituted one unmitigated disastrous policy after another in every facet of the American nation. He shut down our space program as one of his first acts. He has decimated our military. He has crippled our business model and is piling on debt at a breakneck speed. He has ruined America in terms of foreign policy and foreign relations all over the world with everyone, friend and foe alike.

And through it all he laughs, and plays golf, and parties with celebrities. Because he simply does not care. In fact, I believe he thinks it is 'funny' that Americans would be stupid enough to elect someone as destructive as he is to be President. So, now, like a child, he wants to see just how far he can push it. And we may see first hand how far he can push the destruction of America in the coming final year of his term.

But, back to the point, he is no socialist. He is a 'nothing-ist' His goal is not to create or build anything. He is all about destruction and revenge. And so far, he is doing very well.
