'Appeasing tyrannical regimes will only increase their aggression,' PM says on Holocaust Remembrance Day"Appeasing tyrannical regimes will only increase their aggression and is an approach that is liable to drag the world into larger wars," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday evening. The prime minister was of course referring to Iran during a speech he made on Israel's official Holocaust Remembrance Day.Speaking in Jerusalem at the national ceremony to mourn the 6 million Jews who were killed during the Holocaust, Netanyahu said that Iran seeks to destroy the Jewish state and Israel reserves the right to defend itself against a nuclear Iran.“Has the world really learned from the incomprehensible, universal and Jewish tragedy of the last century?" Netanyahu asked. "I wish I could tell you that the answer is yes.”"The bad deal with Iran signals that the lessons of the Holocaust have not been learned," he said. "Even if we are forced to stand alone against Iran we will not fear. In every circumstance we will preserve our right and our ability to defend ourselves," he added."The day of victory over the Nazis was not only a day of relief and joy," said Netanyahu. "It was a day mixed with terrible sorrow for our people, and it was also a day of soul-searching for leaders of all peoples."
