Dems Warns Rubio’s Support for Israel Would Damage Relations w/Israel

If you like your crazy lies, you can keep your crazy lies. And this latest one, courtesy of Jeff Dunetz, is extremely crazy [1].
The National Jewish Democratic Council, one of the party’s more tiresome arms, put out a press release warning that “Rubio Presidency Would Damage U.S.-Israel Relationship.”
That’s a strange statement to make when the current administration has taken the relationship to new lows, losing record amounts of Jewish support in the process, and Hillary Clinton has to awkwardly try to distance herself from her own administration on Israel.
But it gets even stranger.
The NJDC went on to accuse Rubio of being willing to “undermine the United States’ relationship with Israel as a fundraising tactic for his campaign.”
And how exactly was he going to do that?
“Sen. Rubio has discussed adding an amendment to Sen. Bob Corker’s (R-TN) bill requiring congressional approval of a nuclear deal with Tehran, which would demand Iranian recognition of Israel’s right to exist. This amendment, which the New York Jewish Week called a ‘blatantly transparent ploy,’ has no purpose other than to politicize the U.S.-Israel relationship at a time when the Jewish state needs our steadfast support. It is shameful that Sen. Rubio would further polarize this issue to advance his own political goals…..”
Yes, that’s right.
Rubio would damage relations with Israel… by supporting its right to exist.
This “blatantly transparent ploy”, as described by a local liberal paper funded by a liberal non-profit with six figure salaries, was proposed by…. Bibi Netanyahu.
The Jewish Week, in its rant about the amendment, called it the “Bibi amendment” because Netanyahu proposed that Iran should have to recognize Israel’s right not to be nuked if it wants nukes.
So the NJDC is claiming that Rubio is ruining relations with Israel by following up on an idea proposed by the Israeli government.
Next the NJDC will announce that Rubio will completely ruin relations with Israel by visiting it. And Obama will improve relations with Israel by letting Iran go nuclear while blasting Netanyahu.
At the Democratic Party, up means down, helping means hurting and hurting means helping.
