White House Doesn’t Care That Harry Reid Lied About Mitt Romney

“Not for something three years old.”
    Justin Koski — April 2, 2015

Earlier this week, CNN’s Dana Bash sat down with outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid to discuss comments he made in 2012 regarding then-presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Bash asked the then-Senate Majority Leader if he had any regrets lying about Romney not paying his taxes – something that landed Reid four Pinocchios – to which Reid responded with pride.

“Romney didn’t win, did he?” he said with a smile.

In light of that interview, Fox News’ James Rosen, at a White House press conference Wednesday, asked WH Press Secretary Josh Earnest about Reid’s comments and if he would like to condemn his rhetoric.

“It’s the president’s choice and his spokesman’s choice to call out conduct unbecoming of our highest elected officials, when it is in fact unbecoming,” Rosen said. “Are you going to take that opportunity now?”

“Not for something three years old,” Earnest responded with a smirk.

If three years qualifies as a statute of limitations, why do democrats still blame Bush?
