Senate Votes 100 – 0 for Kirk Amendment As Iran Demands Rapid Removal of Sanctions

by Sara Noble • March 27, 2015

Iran

Iranian president Rouhani has taken to Twitter to let people know he has written to President Obama and the rest of the P5+1 to justify his position that there must be a rapid removal of  “unjust sanctions against the Iranian people” if and when a nuclear accord is reached.

The deal is looking less like a deal and more like the great giveaway. The AP is reporting that the nuclear deal will allow Iran to run centrifuges at an underground nuke site.  Removing sanctions is part of the deal but it’s not as rapid as Iran wants.

There is a Tuesday deadline but the Ayatollah has already said he doesn’t care about the deadline.

According to Roll Call, the Senate voted unanimously for the Kirk Amendment Thursday evening. How often does the Senate vote unanimously for anything?

The Kirk Amendment had some high-powered Democratic supporters going in to the vote. It will make it easier to punish the Iranian regime with revived and new sanctions in the event the president can’t certify Iran is complying with any agreement.

It will also put the Senate on a collision course with the Obama administration.

Iran’s propaganda outlet in the U.S., Press TV, says negotiations are going well and they are optimistic. The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said he is looking at a “win-win” resolution and Foreign Minister Zarif said they expect the lifting of the sanctions according to the guidelines of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

No one is discussing the failure of Iran to meet their obligations of transparency as the IAEA report recently revealed.

Iran has been cheating and lying continuously since 2003 when their program was discovered, and, given this, to allow Iran to keep centrifuges is irrational and irresponsible.

The Ayatollah’s rants of Death to America are just for show according to our administration.

This administration will do whatever they can to make a deal, even if it means giving in on everything. The Iranians are making fools of us, which is not hard to do these days.

“The truth is, you can dwell on Yemen, or you can recognize that we’re one agreement away from a game-changing, legacy-setting nuclear accord on Iran that tackles what every one agrees is the biggest threat to the region,” an unnamed U.S. official told a foreign correspondent for Politico.

This is what it is about – Obama’s legacy. He wants to earn that Peace Prize no matter how absurd the deal.

The deal is being called an agreement so he doesn’t have to run it by the Congress. It is clearly a treaty. If the Congress doesn’t fight back, we will have a deal and a nuclear Iran.

The evil Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad now wants to negotiate with the U.S.

We are supposedly fighting for nuclear energy in Iran but not in the U.S. and we are doing it for a country that has enough fuel for a thousand years. It’s obvious their only goal is nuclear weaponry.

Barack Obama is distancing us from our allies, including Israel and aligning us with terrorists – Hamas, Hizbollah, Iran.

We are fighting alongside Iran. John Kerry has already said we should negotiate with Assad. He is manipulating the U.S. into becoming part of the Axis of Evil.

That's the main problem with politics. When Democrats win, America loses. Take 2008, for example. The election that installed a subversive, America hating, black Muslim democrat in the White House.
