O'Malley: Presidency 'Not Some Crown' Families Should Share
Sunday, March 29, 2015 11:08 AM

By: By ALAN FRAM

Potential Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley says the country needs new perspectives, and he's criticizing the prospects of another Clinton and Bush seeking the White House again.

The former Maryland governor tells ABC's "This Week" that the presidency is "not some crown to be passed between two families."

He also questions whether former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton would take on special interests.

Clinton is a likely presidential candidate and would be the strong favorite for the Democratic nomination.

O'Malley says he'll decide this spring whether he'll run.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is a likely contender on the Republican side.

This may be the one and only time I'll ever agree with a democrat.   :pondering:

One name that should never get anywhere near to the presidency in the first place is - at least for the current generation - O'Malley.

Yes, I agree with him as well.  The last thing Americans want is another Bush or Clinton or Obama for that matter.  Enough is enough.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

With Hillary's recent problems, looks like the media have adopted this guy as their new great white hope.
