This Guy Thinks Racism And Climate Change Are Bigger Threats Than ISIS

Meet Brentin Mock, a far-left MSNBC guest and contributor for Color Lines, The Nation and Grist who honest-to-God believes that racism and climate change post a bigger threat to Americans than the Islamic State.

He said as much last week, when he took time to digest the results of a Gallup poll that revealed that most Americans are far more concerned about “the possibility of future terrorist attacks in the U.S.” than they are about either racism or climate change.

“There have been far more major hurricanes, drought, and displacement than violent attacks from foreigners in the years since 9/11,” Brent wrote for Grist. “There have [also] been far more police shootings and killings of black men than ‘terrorist attacks on the U.S.'”

“These are the areas projecting the most suffering, and yet are registering the least concern among Americans,” he continued.

First and foremost, why should Americans concern themselves over “major hurricanes, drought and displacement,” when they know fully well that they lack the power to magically wave a wand and modify our ever-changing climate?

I suppose that Brent believes that we all could affect the climate, were we to simply recycle our goods and use energy-efficient bulbs?

Second, why should any law-abiding American citizen shed a single tear over the deaths of armed and unarmed black criminals like Mike Brown, Vonderitt Myers and Rumain Brisbon? What in the world makes racial grievance mongers like Brent Mock think that slimy men like the aforementioned deserve even a shred of our sympathy and concern!?

Regardless, Brent ends his diatribe by sharing his solution — that “the climate change and #blacklivesmatter movements” merge into one gigantic clique of Al-Gore- and Mike-Brown-worshiping morons.

Maybe then Americans might stop “blinding themselves to the real-life terror happening before our very eyes.”

Uh huh …
