Muslims Now Offended by the Number “786”

I had a nightmare that I was living in a crazy medieval dictatorship run by superstitious lunatics trying to take the world into a new dark age. Then I remembered that I’ve never even been to Sweden.
A man in southern Overland Park has been driving around in a car for the last ten years that has the number combination “786” on the license plate. When he came to renew its licence, however, he was stopped by the Swedish Transport Agency, who said that the figures can be seen as offensive.
The background is that authority, thanks to Google, has come up with the figure 786 can be used for the “bismillah” — an important concept in the Koran, which roughly means “in the name of Allah”.
Islam is full of numerology because those astronomers that revisionist historians like to talk up were actually astrologers. It’s why they carry out terrorist attacks on key dates.
It also means that if we outlaw numbers that Muslims find significant, we’ll have no numbers left.
But now we can add math to the list of things that offends Muslims such as
1. Kites
2. Porky the Pig
3. Jews
4. Freedom of speech
5. Seeing eye dogs
6. Everything
