Study after study has concluded there is nothing settled regarding “climate change” otherwise known as global warming. Millions of Americans view it as a scam intent on cashing in on nothing more than long-standing weather patterns.
The cry to “do something” has become more shrill of late as the Obama presidency winds down and people like Al Gore, who has made millions off of the global warming machine, grows desperate to make billions before old age makes him as irrelevant as his ideas have been.
It was Gore himself who doomed and gloomed just ten years ago that winters would be absent snow and the ice caps would disappear if we didn’t do something NOW-NOW-NOW.
Snow remains plentiful, the ice caps are actually larger now than when Gore issued that ridiculous (and non-scientific) warning, and the world’s temperatures have flat-lined for nearly twenty years.
Leaving the facts aside, let us focus on the idea of a high ranking politico like Al Gore, Barack Obama, etc. issuing a threat to punish those who don’t simply allow them to bilk billions of dollars from the American economy. Gore and his kind ignore science which has long stated you could take every gas-powered car off of every road in the world and it would have a negligible impact on earth’s climate. The only “change” the climate change movement is truly advocating is filling a select few pockets with lots and lots of cash and using the emotional appeal to people desperate to feel like their lives matter to get them to convince others to do the same.
I like to think most people are environmentalists. We care about clean water and air, but do so with some semblance of common sense based upon actual reality.
The global warming/climate change movement isn’t about environmentalism. It a con, and those who continue to promote it are crooks hoping to gain yet more riches and influence. It is being orchestrated via the same deceptive playbook used by tyrants throughout history.
I say we dump Al Gore in the North Pole where he repeatedly claimed no ice would remain. Let him see first hand just how much of a lie that was as he turns into a bloated, red-faced ice sculpture that would be the perfect compliment to the climate change hoax.
