According to Channel 10 in Israel, President Obama has reduced American intelligence cooperation with Israel because of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s opposition to the incipient U.S./Iran Nuclear deal. The report states that joint efforts by Israeli and American intelligence agencies have been utilized in the past by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as they analyzed Iran's nuclear program, but even though other countries are cooperating with Israel in sharing information about Iran's nuclear program, the United States is now refusing to do so.

Secretary of State John Kerry had initially claimed Israel had no knowledge of the details of the U.S. deal with Iran, but apparently warned Netanyahu on Monday not to divulge details when the prime minister spoke to Congress on Tuesday.

In addition, reports that the U.S. would cut defense aid to Israel because of the differences between the Obama Administration and the Israeli Administration were denied by the U.S. on Monday, and also denied a Kuwaiti paper’s report that said Obama had threatened to shoot down an Israel Air Force strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.
