New York Times Whines that Scott Walker Hates the Media

How short of talent is the New York Times? This latest column comes from Frank Bruni, who was the paper’s restaurant critic. Now he’s whining that Scott Walker hates the media.
MAYBE those of us who write about politics and campaigns should adopt a bristly uniform of hair shirts, so that we’re constantly atoning for our sins.
Maybe we should wear targets, the better for our critics to take aim at us.
Oh, how we’re hated.
Maybe the guys pulling down six figures to rehash Media Matters talking points for a dwindling audience of old white liberal elites should whine less? Or they can just wear their hair shirts to their next cocktail lunch\insider book party launch.
And as another presidential race takes shape, that hatred gathers force.
America’s real problem; Mediaphobia.
Will no one pity the poor restaurant critic turned op-ed columnist trying to explain why Scott Walker/Insert Random Republican here is the devil?

What would give him that idea? Your paper running a blatantly false story accusing him of something that happened before he took office and then offering up a worthless correction?
Keep that in mind when candidates bemoan and disparage the media’s omnipresence and hypervigilance, and remember this, too: When they’re harping about our shortcomings, they’re first and foremost trying to cover up their own.
It took Frankie a whole paragraph to unload a fancy version of, “I know you are, but what am I”.
