Quote
Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin is being called cowardly in The Washington Post and other outlets for declining to say whether he agrees with Rudolph W. Giuliani’s assertion that President Obama does not love America.

But at the same time, Mr. Walker is looking to capitalize on the moment — by raising money off it.

In a new fund-raising email, the campaign committee Friends of Scott Walker denounces the “liberal media,” echoing in more florid language Mr. Walker’s explanation to reporters that he would not comment on the president’s patriotism because he considered it a distraction.

A leading potential candidate for the Republican Party’s 2016 presidential nomination, Mr. Walker attended a dinner last week during which Mr. Giuliani set off an uproar by claiming that the president did not love America. Mr. Walker was sitting nearby, but he did not distance himself from Mr. Giuliani’s comments.

On Saturday, Mr. Walker went a step further and told The Post that he did not “know whether” Mr. Obama is a Christian. A spokeswoman later told the paper that “of course the governor thinks the president is a Christian,’’ adding that such “gotcha questions” were a distraction from his record.

Mr. Walker amplified the point on Twitter. “Enough with the media’s gotcha game,’’ he wrote.

The fund-raising missive raised the temperature even higher. “Now is the time to stand up against the publicity hounds and the journalistic pack, and help Governor Walker fight back,’’ it reads. “Your support will show the clueless and mindless journalistic herd that you know what matters most and that it is not the pointless minutiae that they are pushing.”

It asks for “$10 or $100 or $1,000 or whatever amount is right for you.’’

Thank you lap rat media.  You are turning Governor Walker into a giant.  When the average Joe sees Governor Walker is not the fire breathing demon you paint they will discount everything else you say/write.  Keep it going.

I heard Walker on the radio, one on one with the host, and he was sharp as can be.

He is sharp, running for the support of every possible voter, not just a wing of his party.
