Dem Senator on Amnesty: Obama ‘Overreached and I Will Be Voting with Republicans to Repeal’

Posted By Washington Free Beacon Staff On February 24, 2015 @ 8:20 am In Politics | No Comments

Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W. Va.) said that a number of Democrats will join with Republicans to vote against Obama’s executive action if it is separated from funding for the Department of Homeland Security.

“I think the president overreached,” Manchin said. “And I would be–I will be voting with the Republicans to repeal the president’s actions.”

It appears Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will split his Homeland Security funding bill, no longer tying it to a vote to overturn the president’s unilateral action to defer 5 million undocumented residents.

The decision allows McConnell to escape another close call with a partial government shutdown and gives Senate Republicans–and a few Democrats–to express their displeasure with Obama’s executive action, which has been called unconstitutional.

Why are you quoting Adolph Hitler.  Hitler was scum.  Even if he wrote something that wasn't batsh*t crazy...he is a horrible spokesman for any issue and JMHO he diminishes all that you write and the integrity this forum.
