One Voice Boss: We Have To Do Everything in Our Power to Take Down Netanyahu

The story of the anti-Netanyahu election campaign headed by Obama’s top campaign worker is continuing to break open.

Haaretz reporter Roy (Chicky) Arad revealed in an article in the Hebrew edition today that the foreign funded organization, “One Voice”, is bankrolling the V-2015 campaign to defeat Binyamin Netanyahu’s national camp in the March 2015 Knesset Elections.

One indication of the generous financing is that it has now flown in a team of five American campaign experts (including Jeremy Bird, the Obama campaign’s national field director) who will run the campaign out of offices taking up the ground floor of a Tel Aviv office building.

There were questions as to just how far up the campaign went. We now have a partial answer from a blog post by Daniel Lubetzky who heads up One Voice. (If you buy KIND bars, you’re funding his organization.)

I’ve always thought Gideon Levy to be way out there and too extremist and biased against Israel. Now, in reading the article pasted below, I find myself thinking he will be precisely right if we don’t take all possible legal measures and do everything in our power to help Israeli moderates seize back the agenda in the upcoming existentialist elections.

That was on Dec 05. Lubetzky claims that these actions will be legal, but it’s not clear how using a non-profit to fund an election campaign in another country is legal.

The article cited is a crazed Gideon Levy rant about Netanyahu. Lubetzky has made it clear who the target is.

One Voice has tried spinning earlier with a press release claiming that the campaign is non-partisan intended to “disrupt the status quo.” Not only is it partisan, but Lubetzky has made it clear that it has Netanyahu is the target.

Hard to spin Lubetzky claiming that Gideon Levy’s description of Netanyahu as “the prime minister of fear and hate” and possessed of an “extremist doctrine” is “precisely right” in a call for a campaign to help his opponents win as non-partisan.

Gideon Levy has called for boycotting Israel. He claimed that Israel ordered the kidnapping of the three murdered Jewish teens and mocked the concerns of Jews about anti-Semitism in Europe. He defended Hamas.

If you look at the bottom of the anti-Israel barrel, GL is there. Daniel Lubetzky citing a radical opponent of Israel to justify his attempt to hijack the election ends his ability to pretend to be a moderate.

He can’t describe a piece as “precisely right” which calls Israel an Apartheid State and play the moderate.

Lubetzky put himself and One Voice in the same camp as the BDS crowd. His campaign has to be seen that way.
