Dianne Feinstein Suddenly Outraged At Obama’s Separation Of Powers Violations

By Brian Anderson, January 27, 2015.

Dianne Feinstein has been one of Obama’s biggest cheerleaders as the President has tap-danced on the Constitution, but even her partisan loyalty has its limits. The California Senator is hopping mad at the CIA. She’s not upset over the agency’s supposed use of torture, like most liberals, she’s got a burr under her saddle because they may have spied on Congress.

Feinstein took time off of scaring billy goats and came out from under the bridge to release a scathing condemnation of the CIA and a review panel that investigated the intelligence-gathering agency:

“The report released by the CIA Accountability Board, which recommended no accountability for wrongdoing by CIA personnel, contains many mistakes and omissions. The bottom line is that the CIA accessed a Senate Intelligence Committee computer network without authorization, in clear violation of a signed agreement between the committee and former Director Leon Panetta,” wrote Feinstein.

And now here is the part that I find absolutely hilarious:

“That access, and the subsequent review of committee staff emails, breaches the constitutional separation of powers between Congress and the executive branch,” she said with a blissful lack of self-awareness.

Feinstein never actually names Obama; she seems to think the executive branch is helmed by a faceless straw man, possibly a Republican. However, the hypocrisy comes through loud and clear as she gripes about the separation of powers.

When Obama illegally changed the Affordable Care Act on numerous occasions, not only didn’t Feinstein have a problem with it, she applauded the President for making such bold moves. When Obama rewrote our nation’s immigration law by granting amnesty to 5 million illegal aliens, Feinstein spiked the ball and did an end zone dance.

As a long-serving United States Senator, surely Dianne Feinstein understands that Congress makes the laws, not the President. She must have read the Constitution, or at least had an aid brief her on it, and knows the legal limits of each branch of the government. Of course she knows, she just brought up the separation of powers in her press release.

It’s not surprising that Feinstein only acknowledges the highest law of the land when it suits her needs. She has a long history of ignoring the Constitution to further her leftist anti-American agenda. She introduced the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban, which was a clear violation of the 2nd Amendment. She even tried to reintroduce it in 2013 proving her hatred of civil rights hadn’t faded with age.

Feinstein has been bent out of shape over the CIA accessing Congressional computers for a while now. The lady doth protest too much, methinks. Maybe she’s freaking out about this separation of powers violation when she doesn’t give a rat’s ass about others because she doesn’t want the world to discover that she spends most of her time on-line looking at Hungarian scat porn and has illegally downloaded the full Ted Nugent catalog.
